Why Vape Funky Republic Ti7000? Design, Build Quality & Performance in Details
The Funky Republic Ti7000 is one of the newest disposable vapes from the company that created the popular Elfbar brand. It is one of just two devices in the new line, the other being the smaller Fi3000 model.
The Ti7000 vape tank holds around 13ml of 50mg/ml vape liquid, which is evaporated by a 1.2Ω mesh coil and lasts up to 7000 puffs. The vape comes in a variety of familiar flavors, most of which are fruity and sweet.
Alert: Before we embark, we request minors and non-puffers to keep off! Nicotine is addictive and harmful.
Unlike most disposable vapes, it also has a digital display for tracking battery and juice levels, as opposed to the simple LED lights that are more typically seen. Is this just an Elfbar with a nice new body and a liquid crystal display on the side? Or does the Funky Republic Ti7000 provide something more for throwaway vape users? Let’s find out.
Funky Republic Vape Design
The Funky Republic is a somewhat large tablet, but its oval design makes it pleasant and easy to grip. Unless you have large hands, inconspicuous vaping may be difficult, but this is not a significant design fault. Vapes with this promised puff count are not typically small devices.
The body combines a matte and gloss surface, with a small, textured section for enhanced grip where your thumb naturally rests. The top part and flat-style mouthpiece are shiny, making them easy to wipe clean.
The branding is minimal, and these vapes seem quite elegant in the hand, at least in some colors. The colors change depending on the flavor of the vape, thus green for apple, dark red for cherry, and so on. The dark reds, blues, and greens appeal to my eye more, yet bright colors are common in disposables.
The device’s bottom is large and flat, so you don’t have to worry about it tipping over if you bump against the surface it’s on. The Ti7000 simply needs to be laid down on its side for charging because the base houses the USB-C port.
Funky Republic Ti7000 Features
The Funky Republic Vape isn’t loaded with features. After all, like with other modern disposables, it is intended to be inexpensive and simple to use. However, it does have a few interesting tricks under its sleeve.
Few disposables on the market have a digital display that shows the remaining battery and juice levels. This makes the Funky Republic vapes stand out right away. The Liquid Crystal Display isn’t particularly detailed and is somewhat small, but it’s a helpful feature that would be nice on more disposable devices. The display is buried in the Ti7000’s side bezel, so you won’t notice it unless you’re vaping.
These vapes have a 600mAh rechargeable battery. That isn’t the largest capacity I’ve ever seen, but it’s comparable to numerous similar disposables. Charging is now done over USB-C, which is relatively speedy. It takes around 30 minutes from the low battery warning to full charging.
The device has no buttons, which means it can only be operated by drawing. The six little holes on the bottom of the vaporizer are your sole option for airflow adjustment, and they are so close together that you can cover all of them or none.
It’s hardly unexpected that these vapes use the same QUAQ coil as Elfbars’ other products. In a word, if you’re unfamiliar with this coil technology, it’s intended to deliver superior flavor and consistency while burning more effectively and consuming less vape liquid every puff. All of the disposables I’ve tried with this sort of coil have lived up to these claims, and the Ti7000s appear to do as well.
This coil technology may explain why the vape contains only 12.8ml of juice. I was expecting 15ml or more from a gadget that promises 7000 puffs, but the capacity was unexpected. There is only one strength option, 50mg/ml, but more may be added as the brand evolves.
How Does Funky Republic Flavors Vape?
On to the most important part of the review, because no matter how many flashing lights, digital displays, or flavor selections a disposable has, if it doesn’t vape effectively, why bother with it over any of the hundred other possibilities?
The Funky Republic vape delivers a vaping experience that is consistent with what most of us anticipate from a throwaway. The draw activation makes it simple to use and reliable enough to deliver a satisfying lungful of vapor with each hit.
The draw is medium to tight, providing an excellent MTL-style inhale, and can be tightened even more by blocking the bottom airflow holes. The 50/50 vape liquid provides a strong throat hit without being harsh, and each puff is tasty.
The battery lasts a long time, and the digital display lets you know how much time you have left to vape. The device is comfortable to grip and use. You don’t want to have too many in your pocket at once, but with 7000 puffs and a battery that should last all day, you probably don’t need to carry two.
Verdict
The Funky Republic Ti7000 is a pleasant, if unremarkable, addition to the disposable vape landscape. The digital display is a wonderful addition, and I’d like to see it emerge on more throwaway gadgets.
In daily use, the vape appears to function properly and without leaks. All five flavors I tested were good, with a couple of standouts that I could see myself purchasing again. If you want a rather tight MTL draw, the Ti7000 will not disappoint. The vaping experience is enjoyable, with plenty of vapor created and a pleasing throat hit from the 50/50 VG/PG combination.
It would be fantastic to be able to claim that these disposable vapes provide something more revolutionary or original than the LCD. However, while they are pleasant, dependable, and excellent value for money, there isn’t much else that distinguishes the Funky Republic Ti7000 from other high-capacity vapers.
